WHO WE ARE

Labor of Love USA is a member of The Fellowship Network. Labor of Love USA is a registered 501 (c)3 non profit organization, committed to outreach in the community. They are helping others connect their faith to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 


Located in East Stroudsburg, PA, they are an hour and a half from NYC and Philadelphia. They hold a weekly Sunday service at 11 AM and are widely known for their annual, original Christmas comedy, Change the Musical, their yearly summer basketball league and youth outreaches. 


Using original music, preaching, theater and sports, Labor of Love USA's outreaches are making a tremendous impact in their community for Christ.

BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Labor of Love USA's basketball league is an "affordable, competitive and faith based" program. Welcoming athletes, ages 10 and up, the league is co-ed, with high energy games, weeknights during the summer months. Cost of summer registration is $50 per athlete for the entire summer program. Games are currently held at Danbury Park, in East Stroudsburg. Before each game, both teams and coaches gather at center court for a brief word of encouragement and prayer. At the end of every summer, championship games are held, followed by a night of entertainment basketball, showcasing the leagues finest athletes vs. professional ballers. The league participants are awarded with championship trophies, and the "Guard your Heart" award, given to those who are recognized for being a cut above throughout the summer with good sportsmanship, attitude and acts of kindness. Local businesses sponsor teams and help us make a difference in the lives of the young people. The league provides a work exchange where they scholarship athletes for the summer who may not have the money for the registration fee. 


This league is more than basketball. Basketball is the avenue we use to teach them excellence on and off the court.

CHANGE THE MUSICAL

Change the Musical is an original Christmas comedy musical that began in 2008 at Labor of Love USA. A group of young people gathered to write a Christmas message of joy and cheer for the community that would soon turn into a state of the art show that's run for over a decade, attracting hundreds each year to the historic Sherman Theater in downtown Stroudsburg. Accompanied by original music, Change the musical tells the story of "The Quarter that comes to life and brings Change to the magical town of Stroudsville."

THE AWAKENING

The Awakening began in 2004 and ran until March of 2020. With the widespread Covid outbreak, it's been put on temporary hold, but their message remains: Waking up God's purpose.


The Awakening would bring to life the message of the Bible through acting, music and comedy. They would end with a practical message the students could apply to their every day life.


The Awakening met weekly for 12+ years on the East Stroudsburg University campus, helping countless students find their God given purpose. The impact of the ESU Awakening left an eternal imprint of God's love in the hearts of many. The Awakening has traveled and been the guest at many church conferences, as well as public school assemblies and community programs.
